BIO:Despite a tough first half of the 2011 season, Glock signed a new multi-year contract with Marussia in July. The team's first points remained elusive, however, as Glock ended the year 25th in the driver standings. Glock joined the F1 ranks in 2008, turning in an impressive season for Toyota despite a couple noteworthy accidents. Glock scored points in six races and claimed his maiden F1 podium with second place in Hungary on the way to finishing 10th overall with 25 points, just six shy of veteran teammate Jarno Trulli. Glock returned to the team in 2009, scoring two of his three career podiums, but left for Marussia ahead of the 2010 season.
