BIO:Formula One’s top rookie of 2011, Di Resta returns to Force India for a second season but will be joined by a new teammate, former Force India Friday driver and former Williams race driver Nico Hulkenberg. Di Resta enjoyed an impressive maiden F1 campaign, often outpacing veteran teammate Adrian Sutil in the first half of the season. The 2010 DTM champion finished in the points in his first two F1 appearances, and qualified a spectacular sixth for his home race at Silverstone. Di Resta finished 13th in the overall driver standings.
