BIO:Karthikeyan is back on the grid after a disjointed 2011 that saw him drive in the first eight rounds for HRT, be replaced by Red Bull reserve Daniel Ricciardo and then return to HRT for a cameo race appearance at the inaugural Indian Grand Prix in his home country. Karthikeyan, who dabbled in NASCAR in 2010, made his debut F1 season with Jordan in 2005, posting a career-best fourth-place finish at the infamous “Bridgestone-only” US GP. Karthikeyan competed as a test driver for Williams in 2006 and 2007.
