BIO:Sauter won the American Speed Association championship in 2001 with a record 10 wins; that's 50 percent of the races. And to top it off, Sauter was an ASA rookie in 2001. His accomplishments just add to the legend of the Sauter family. His Dad and two of his brothers (Jay and Tim) are well-known racers who have competed in everything from the local Late Model ranks of Wisconsin to the NASCAR Cup Series. He finished second in Camping World Truck Series points in 2011 and had one Sprint Cup start.
