BIO:Setzer made his NASCAR debut in the Busch (Nationwide) Series in 1991. He wrecked in his first two starts and earned his first win in his 23rd start, racing for Daniel Welch in 1993. He finished ninth in points and was runner-up to Johnny Benson for Rookie of the Year. In 1995, Setzer began racing in the Craftsman (Camping World) Truck Series. He finished second in his debut, making eight starts. Setzer took over the K-Automotive Racing truck for driver/owner Bob Keselowski, who had been injured in a wreck in 1998. He would eventually take home one win. In 1999 he was the series’ Most Popular Driver. He left the team in 2000. Over the next several season, Setzer would drive for several teams, lead the points standings, win races and eventually head back to K-Automotive – in the Nationwide Series. While owner/driver Brian Keselowski drove the No. 26, Setzer took the wheel of the No. 92. His most notable run was during the 2010 Aaron’s 312 at Talladega, where Setzer’s day ended with his car on the catch fence in a ball of flames. He was not injured. On the Cup side, Setzer filled in for Brian Keselowsk in the spring of 2011 while Keselowski was recovering from surgery. He qualified for the Bristol race, finishing 38th (the team’s best). It was Setzer’s first Cup start since 1998. He had one Cup start in 2011.
