BIO:Lives in Monaco; married, two children. Retired from 1997 Le Mans debut with Porsche, won 1998 with Porsche GT1. DNF with Toyota GT-One 1999 before joining Audi 2000, to finish second. With Audi ever since, winning again with R10, Kristensen and Capello in 2008 – after other brilliant performances ended in frustration.



Karting from 1981, British Champion 1983, 1986, third in World Championship 1985. Second Ford Championship 1987, British F3 1989. Fourth F3000 Championship 1990 and (with McLaren) started 13-year on-off F1 career. Joined Audi 2000, winning Petit Le Mans and ALMS title. 2001-2002 Toyota F1 test and race driver, rejoining Audi 2004, racing in Le Mans, ALMS, LMS and DTM. Sebring winner 2004, 2006, 2009.
